Privacy Policy

Last updated September 7, 2026

This policy explains what personal data Atlas One collects, why, and what rights you have over it, whether you're a landlord using Atlas One or a tenant who went through a screening chat, applied to a property, or was invited into a tenant portal.

What we collect

Account details. Your name, email address, and password (or, if you sign in with Google, the information described below).

Property and tenant records. The property, tenant, lease, maintenance, and cleaning information you enter yourself.

Screening chat transcripts. If you're a prospective tenant, the conversation you have with our AI screening assistant and any details you choose to share in it. A human, the landlord, reviews the resulting summary and score and makes the actual leasing decision, the assistant does not automatically approve or reject anyone.

Billing information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, we don't store your card number ourselves.

Region. The country you tell us (or, if you sign in with Google, the country your connection appears to be coming from), used only to choose sensible defaults for which dashboard features are shown to you. You can change it, and turn on anything hidden by default, at any time from Settings.

Basic usage data. Standard web server and analytics data (like pages visited and general location inferred from IP address) needed to run and improve the product.

AVA, our in-dashboard assistant. When you ask AVA a question, it's given your live tenant, property, maintenance, lease, and lead data for that request only, scoped to your account, it never sees another landlord's data. During first-time setup, a separate guided version of AVA sees only what you tell it while adding your first property, nothing more.

Signing in with Google

If you choose "Continue with Google" instead of a password, Google shares your name, email address, and Google account identifier with us, only after you've approved that on Google's own consent screen. We use this solely to create or sign you into your Atlas One account. We don't request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google data, and we don't use what Google gives us for advertising or share it with anyone except the service providers listed below. You can revoke Atlas One's access at any time from your Google Account's Security > Third-party access settings.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Atlas One, each only gets what it needs to do its job: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (sending emails like maintenance notifications and password resets), Supabase (database hosting), Anthropic (processes screening chat and assistant conversations to generate responses and scores), Vercel (application hosting and basic web analytics), and Google (only if you choose to sign in with it). Some of these providers are based outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States, where that's the case we rely on their standard contractual data protection safeguards.

Cookies

Atlas One uses a small number of functional cookies: one to keep you signed in, one to remember your chosen language, and one short-lived cookie used only during Google sign-in to prevent forged login attempts. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you want to reactivate or export it, or as needed to meet legal, tax, or billing obligations. You can ask us to delete it sooner, see your rights below.

Your rights under GDPR

Atlas One operates from Poland and handles personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation, regardless of where you're based.

Why we're allowed to. Most of this is processed under contract, we need it to provide the service you signed up for. A prospective tenant's screening chat is processed with their consent, given at the start of that conversation. A small amount, billing records and fraud prevention, is processed under legal obligation or legitimate interest.

Your rights. You can ask to see what we hold on you, correct it, delete it, or export it in a portable format, at any time. This applies whether you're a landlord using Atlas One or a tenant who went through a screening chat, not just the account holder who invited you.

Children

Atlas One isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, we'll notify you by email or an in-app notice before it takes effect.
